Vibrant cranberry, raspberry aromas with subtle white pepper spice. A classic example of Barbera that sees 12 months of oak ageing hence 12 moons/Dodici Lune. This wine is their top Barbera which will continue to evolve with age or can be enjoyed now after a brief period in a decanter.

The vineyard was planted in 1977. Since the vines have had time to establish themselves it became possible to create this Barbera. As everything is hand harvested at the estate the top clusters are seperated for the Dodici Lune which is one of the only wines that see oak maturation, the other being the Ultima Passito Moscato.
